Recently, the Communist Youth League Committee of Chinese Academy of Sciences honored Outstanding Cadre of Communist Youth League and Outstanding Member of Communist Youth League of CAS. Ma Shexia and Yang Lei of Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry won Outstanding Cadre of Communist Youth League and Outstanding Member of Communist Youth League of CAS, respectively.

It is reported that both awards came out through the procedure of organization by all institutes, evaluation by Communist Youth League and Worker Committee of each branch, CAS, assessment and recommendation by institutes, and finally examination and approval by Communist Youth League Committee of CAS. The honored people have played a positive role in the creative work of CAS during the past two years. Furthermore, they are diligent in learning, creative, willing to dedication and set themselves a good example to other members of Communist Youth League.
