Professor Lin Ge was born in DongKou of HuNan province in Jan.1948.He was the former deputy superintendent, superintendent and SEC of Changsha Institute of Geotectonics,Chinese Academy of Sciences, and now he was the professor of Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the deputy director of CAS Key Laboratory of Marginal Sea Geology, the committeeman of Geological Society of China, and the subeditor of GEOTECTONICA ET METALLOGENIA.Professor Lin Ge had been received the first prize of Reward of Natianal Science and Technology Progress, the frist and second prize of Reward of Chinese Academy of Sciences Science Progress, and the second prize of Reward of HuNan provience Science Progress. He had been published more than 80 articles, included 27 articles of SCI. He mainly engaged in geotectonica and metallogenia; in the study of the deep tectonic and geotectonica, he developed the theory of activated tectonic founded by Academician Chen Guoda, with the key of structural dynamics of the activation mechanism in Mesozoic Cenozoic, developed and innovated the theory of activation Tectonic. Combined with the Earth's deep material and transport conditions, focused on the change and role of the crust-mantle transition zone in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic Orogenic basin. He exploited the field of study and research to develop ways to structure the mainland to carry out a numerical simulation study. He studied tectonic simulation in Department of Geology of Australia Monash University between 1994-1995, and cooperated with Dr.Greg Hausman, begain the study of the collision of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and structure to carry out numerical simulation response to the experimental study. In 1998-2002,under the guidance of Academician Bruce Hobbs of Exploration and Mining Institute of Academy of Sciences,Australia Academy of Sciences (CSIRO),he bega
